Naďa Knorre re-elected WomenSport International Vice President
Naděžda Knorre, Chairwoman of Committee for Equal Opportunities in Sport of Czech Olympic Committee, was re-elected WomenSport International Vice President. She will be working in the board of the organisation whose objective is to improve the position and involvement of girls and women in all the sports and physical activities, for four more years.
WomenSport International was founded in 1994 and it works as an expertise group of United Nations, International Olympic Committee, UNESCO and European Commission for all the projects that are related to women's sport topics and equal opportunities in sport.
“I am glad that Naďa Knorre continues as Vice President of our organisation, because she is an outstanding leading personality with a great knowledge of the Olympic movement and values,” Diane Huffman, the newly elected WomenSport International President, said.
“Thank to her active work in WomenSport International where she started as a member of expert´s committee, Naďa Knorre had a lecture at United Nations forum where she spoke about the prevention of the sexual harassment in sport. It is one of the most important topics the Committee for Equal Opportunities in Sport focuses on.
